about Dante’s Divine Comedy is such a big help for me. I learn different things
about reality and now it made me realize one thing. One thing that beside that
truth he said, we can still apply those things in just a simple place that is
really different from hell. Because of this I made stations of in our school,
Cavite National Science High School. My reason is not to make an issue that can
damage our school but instead I’m stating the facts that we, students, make or
violate. My main goal is to let my co-schoolmate to know the wrong things they
made in each station of our school. In that case they may refuse to do it so
that they would not end up in hell or purgatory like others did. So, let’s
start in my first station.
The first
station is the gate of our school. The first rule in this station is “No ID, No
Entry”. But as of now we know students can enter the school without an ID.
Teachers or students in charge just let them in because they can’t do anything.
They have no choice but to let them, but as a punishment they wrote the names
of the students and put the records in the guidance office handled by guidance
counselor.
The
second station is the quadrangle where students usually perform their flag
ceremony and flag retreat. In this place students usually laugh, talk, move and
not perform the exercise. To make it simple they are the kind of student who has
no respect. They don’t care about what their platoon leader says. They just do what
they want. In this case, platoon leaders give his company a numbers of jumping
jacks and squats as their penalty.
The
third station is the pathway. In this station students usually walk in the
other pathway were grass and plants are planted. Students always to this
because it’s faster to walk in the wrong way that the usual one. Because of
this Principal and Teachers get angry to students who don’t follow the
regulations. On the other hand, another violation is made if the pathway is the
assigned area for students to clean. Most students they don’t even clean
especially in the morning. Because of this students are scolded by their
teachers as well as the principal.
The
fourth station is the canteen. This station student always violates the rules.
One of these rules is waiting for your turn until you’re the next one to pay in
the cashier. Mostly, students make their way on the cashier without falling in
line. Another one is stealing. Sometime students steal foods and typically
students don’t take their plates on proper places. Doing all these things, canteeners
will report in the guidance students who infringe the rules and usually
guidance counselor make them suspended in couple of days.
The
fifth station is the Gymnasium where programs were being conducted. Students in
these stations make their own program or commotion. They don’t listen to the
speaker, teachers and even to the visitor. They make their own topic and
sometimes make to their way to go back to their rooms and stay there until the
program ends. Because of this principal get mad to the teachers because their
students have no deference that’s why students will be scolded by their
teachers.
The sixth station is the field where PE is
being done and students usually play. Students can’t be stop in playing
whenever they have free timed. Students usually the boys always play volleyball
and running and many other more. Because they are playing without a permission
or without a reason besides in having fun. Teachers get irritated because they
are beings selfish. They don’t even think that they may be sick. It also shows
that they don’t have respect for their next subject having an appearance which
looks like a beggar or dirty because of their sweat. Usually, teachers just
scold them but some teachers ask their way to the room and let them play the
whole time.
The
seventh station is the Comfort Room. This station seldom students violates rule
but still others still hard-headed. The only violation students do is not
flushing the toilet properly. They also let the faucet open and don’t even
conserve water anymore. Because they don’t flush properly an awful smell is
produced and sometimes the CR is being flooded because of the running water. As
a punishment they sometimes used the other comfort room which is farther in
their room. They are not allowed to use their comfort room until the time
given.
The
eight station is the classroom. This is the best place for students. The
biggest sin in this place is cheating. All students cheat but in different
kind. This could be in assignment, seatwork and anything related to it. When
someone tells the truth or the teacher caught it in the act they can be kicked
out. They could also be suspended for days and weeks. It depends on the
guidance counselor and teachers. In this place students can do a lot of
violation but they seldom being punished but still some are being fixed so that
they won’t do it anymore.
The
last station is the whole school. Everywhere students violate rules starting
from the smallest one to the highest one. All kind of violation can be done anywhere
and because you could do everything here your punishment will be estimated to
the violation you did. In this station teacher, principal and guidance
counselor will be involve. They will be the one who will decide which
punishment will be given
These
are the nine stations of violence in Cavite National Science High School. In this
station a map is being made. It started from the gate and will end up
everywhere. I made the station not by how heavy the violation was instead I
make it a way or a path that every students passes by so that they will know
that they should be careful because in every action they made it can be a
violation or probable not. I believe this is a way to make their mind about
being in hell and purgatory.
