"FOUL is FAIR, FAIR is FOUL"

“Foul is fair, Fair is foul “. Foul means filled or covered with offensive matter while fair means without cheating or trying to achieve unjust advantage. This simple quote has a thousand meanings. It will always be different with people who think it differently. But now, that quote means something to me. It means that…

For me, Foul is fair means that most of the things that we have done wrong that other people point out is fair because I know that all of them do the same thing to others. This short line or quote makes our mind open that when others tells the wrong things we did means that they care for us. We all know that most people do the same thing what other people do. This is what you call fair. Fair that what they do to others, they will also do to us. This is not to hurt us but instead to help us change things that should not be done by human like us and learn from the mistakes we had. So, Foul will always be next to Fair.  They may be simple words but they give us knowledge. The other line is Fair is Foul. This means a different thing, it tells the people that being fair to every situation is wrong. The reason why is that you can never be always be fair to everyone, to everything, and every time because things maybe just get complicated and people won’t learn anything. This quote shows that we should not be playing safe instead we should learn to stand in our own without hesitation. It also means that we should now be responsible to everything and we should stand on our feet to tell the truth though it will hurt the feelings of others. But we should remember that the truth sets us free that’s why no matter what happen we should tell the things that other should know because foul is fair and we should never be fair because fair is foul.

Everything is connected to our life such as lines, quotes, and lyrics. They can be applied to our daily living. They could be nothing for a while but then when understands its deep meaning you’ll just tell to yourself that this quote is right. Now, for this quote that I had I believe that everything happens to my life is connected to it. It tells me to accept everything what other people say and make a decision even though things may get worst because “FOUL is FAIR, FAIR is FOUL.”

The Most Intense and Exciting Part!

Every story has a climax. As we all know, climax is the most intense, exciting, or important point of something. It is the most awaited part of every reader and every reader has their own choice or opinion which is the climax for them. So, climax depends on the perception of the reader. I, as a reader, agree in this perception because I also have my own preview of the story.

Just like in the story of the “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, readers have their own climax in the story so Am I. For me my climax is the part where Helena, Hermia, Lysander and Demetrius met with each other in times when Lysander and Demetrius are still on the spell of the potion. This part also shows the pain that Hermia felt when Lysander doesn’t love him anymore. She doesn’t believe what Lysander told her because she knows that Lysander really loves her. Just like Hermia, Helena doesn’t also believe that Demetrius loves her because she knows how much Demetrius loves Hermia. For Helena, all of them were just playing a joke or making fun with her. But then, because Lysander and Demetrius insist that they both love Helena and not Hermia they both agreed to do it in a fight. Hermia thought that Helena acted to steal Lysander from her that’s why she threatens Helena. Because of Hermia’s threaten Helena becomes afraid and the two men told Hermia that both of them vow to protect Helena from her. After this incident, the fight began between Lysander and Demetrius while Helena runs away from Hermia, and Hermia, reannouncing her amazement at the turn of events, departs.

That part was the climax for me. I felt the excitement which the climax means. That is the most intense part of me because it’s the part where both Lysander and Demetrius will fight against Helena because of the spell magic putted into them. This is the reason why I chose that part as I climax. In addition, I also chose that because I felt that I was like in the story with them doing things that were extraordinary. Again for everyone, I’m one of the examples of a reader who chose her own climax as a reader because every reader has their own choice of climax just like me.

"The best way to FORGIVE is to FORGET"

I know all us have problems. Problems which hurts us the most and problems which gives an impact in our life. I can tell some of these were given by our love ones which give us too much pain the reason we can’t forgive them even though they were our family. There was quote I used to escape this reality which is “The best way to FORGIVE is to FORGET”. This was the quote I applied to my problems especially when I can’t find the way out of it. Come and hear that problem of mine.

There’s an instance in my life where I hate the world so bad. It was a day in May. I can never forget that day because it was the day when I knew my father died in CANCER and NOT IN THE WATER IN HIS LUNGS. I cried a lot. I felt that the world betrayed me. I hate everyone else especially my sister and brother because they didn’t even tell to my Nanay and to me. I was full of anger and hatred to them. They were too selfish. They didn’t even think how I would feel.  Everything was so dark in my mind. I can’t accept the fact that my family lied to me even though they knew how much I love my father. They can’t understand the pain I had when I can’t take care of him in the hospital because of my studies. The sadness I felt when I was living with my relatives. The worries I had when I was waiting for the results of his tests. The sacrifice I had not to see him every day that’s why if only I knew the truth I’m really GIVING UP my school for him and everything else. I don’t care what will happen to me but instead I will do everything because it’s the life of my father. The father who also gave everything to me. But because of their lie I haven’t had a CHANCE TO DO EVERYTHING FOR HIM BECAUSE THE BELIEF THAT HE WAS ALREADY FINE WAS TOTALLY THE OPPOSITE OF IT. So, even though it hurts me so much I chose to forgive them because I know there’s nothing I can do anymore. IT ALREADY HAPPENS.

This is the reason why I totally agree that “The best way to FORGIVE is to FORGET. Because nothing will change even I get mad to them that’s why I decides to FORGET what happened and FORGIVE what they have done to me because no matter what happen they are still my FAMILY. So to everyone, I just want to tell you that “Forget what hurt you but never forget what it taught you” and whenever problems that you can’t handle just apply this quote and everything will be okay “The best way to FORGIVE is to FORGET”.

An academically excellent student but not sporty or a sporty student but not academically excellent?

Every student has their own ability and characteristic.  They can be intelligent, sporty, a quizzer, a researcher, a contestant of different subject, an average student and others. We all know that we were all different from each other since God made us with our own talents. But what will I do if there are two options of characteristics that will portray me as a student? And these choices are an academically excellent student but not sporty or a sporty student but not academically excellent? Which of these options will be me?
Having an opportunity to choose who will I be is really difficult because once you have decided, you can’t change it. It needs a deep thinking and analyzation. If I will compare and contrast this kind of students, I can say both characteristics are just the same since it excels in different field. This only shows that these students have their own capacity or ability. They have their own talent that makes them popular. They both have the power to achieve their goals in life. Thus, this tells that it doesn’t mean that when you’re an academically student you are weak in sports or vice versa.  The only difference is that they show it in different aspects but still they both have the skills that they could be proud of. Now, being academically excellent student but not sporty tells that a student surpass more in academics than sports. It also means that almost ¾ of her brain acts more active in academics than sports. This student illustrate that he likes to study or to learn rather than to play any sport. He likes to read books, solve problems and study chemicals than to learn how to play sport that needs a lot of energy and this kind of students mostly wants to be alone.
Therefore, a sporty student but not academically excellent also shows a different kind of student. It portrays a student that is livelier in sport than in academics. He likes to play than to study. He acts more energetic outdoor than indoor. He is a type of a student who enjoys to work as a team. He doesn’t like that much to study about academics because he is a person who wants to explore different strategies about the sports he wants. And last he makes students to have confidence because he portrays that it doesn’t mean that a sporty cannot be an academically excellent one or vice versa. Now, that I know the difference and similarities between the two, given a chance to choose one of these, I will choose academically excellent student but not sporty because I believe that academics is more important than sports. Also because knowledge will be use whenever you need it and wherever you go unlike sports which are seasonal. For me, everyone might play and learn but not everyone can play and learn. It depends on what field you’re interested. I as a student chose to be an academically excellent student but not sporty.

It may be hard to choose where you belong but just follow your heart and you know yourself more than others. Never be afraid of what others would tell you. Remember we have our own ability. Now, that you know the difference and similarities of the two it’s your time to choose who you want to be. If you’re an academically excellent student but not sporty or a sporty student but not academically excellent?
